I just wanted to drop you guys a note to let you know how good it was to see you all and how much I think your band is outstanding. In fact, I can't find the right adjective to describe how wonderful I think you guys are at creating such wonderful music. You can really tell you just love what you do. The music that comes out of just three people is unbelievable. Thanks for such a good time!

Julie, Rick, and Dean,
Unbelievable! The three of you rocked our wedding reception and our guests still can't
stop talking about it. I can't tell you how many times during the
night people asked us, "Where'd you find this band???" The remarkable
thing was just how many different
people said it to us -- young and old, country folk and city folk,
Dylan fans and Dido fans... everyone was rocking out. Even I had
trouble walking the next day because I had danced so much (I'm not
making this up...you can ask Andrea how I hobbled through Will Rodgers
Airport to catch our honeymoon flight).
We really
appreciate your efforts to learn the songs that were special to us --
our first dance song and the dance with our parents. Also, thank you
for your professionalism throughout the process. Even though the rain
changed our plans, you guys came early, set up, and had everything
ready to go in plenty of time. During the reception, we didn't have to
worry about directing because you knew exactly what to do (it was only
afterward that we realized you played through without taking a break!).
The sound quality was awesome, your outfits fantastic, and the set list
was perfect.... Beatles, Blondie, B-52's, "Blister in the Sun"...
great, great choices for our crowd.
Andrea and I had been to
plenty of receptions with music that felt like something canned for a
run-of-the-mill wedding. We didn't want out guests to be deflated and
feel like they had flown hundreds of miles for a ho-hum night out.
Instead, what they got was an awesome party. Thank you again for
providing the killer soundtrack!

Thank you to Julie, Rick, and Dean of Mystery Dates for making our party a success! We were concerned about finding music which spanned the generations of guests which would be attending my parents' 40th Anniversary party. No worry necessary, no matter what their ages, everyone had fun listening to your amazing sound and dancing along. Your voices and talent took our party up to a higher level! Your four hours of non-stop classic rock were so fun for our guests to dance the night away. Every song you played was a favorite. Thank you for your contribution to an enchanted evening.

Julie & Rick,
Last night was completely wonderful and magical. Ashley and Chris landed safely in Cozumel about noon for the honeymoon. You have no idea how special you two and Dean are to us. Y'all totally rocked the party. Even the Cobblestone coordinator, Kelly Long, said that was one of the best wedding receptions she's ever seen. And she's seen quite a few.
I didn't cry all evening until . . . At 9:30 I told Ashley it was time for her to get in her "going away" clothes and head to the limo so we could gather around to throw the rose petals at them. Her response??? "But, Mom, I'm having so much fun! Can't we just stay for 30 more minutes?" That one choked me up. It was like she was 5 years old and didn't want to leave the park or something.
I stayed up all night long. I am still in my pajamas and pearl necklace and haven't showered yet. I'm takin' the day off! I'm still on the mother-of-the-bride adrenaline rush and can't sleep. Thanks again for making the evening so special for us!

Julie, Rick and Dean,
We just wanted to send you a quick message to say thank you for playing at our wedding. We had a fantastic time and you guys were a huge reason why. We received more compliments on you than any other part of our reception. All of the guests enjoyed you tremendously and had a great time dancing. We are still receiving emails and phone calls on how great the band was and how much fun you made the reception. Several people told us it was the best reception they had been to and we know it was because of you guys.
We cannot believe how long you guys played! You should have taken a break, but we did appreciate that you wanted to keep the music going and people dancing.

Thank you so very much for doing such a fantastic job playing for us, we will never be able to say it enough! We knew after years of seeing you play we just couldn't live without your awesome entertainment at our wedding reception. We have always loved that you play such a large variety of songs, from classic rock to contemporary pop, and everything is played so well and with style. Not only do you play the songs that everyone knows and loves, but you create an atmosphere that makes people want to get up and dance, and have a great time. We definitely saw a lot of that at our reception! Thank you for also playing the songs we wanted for our first dance, and my dance with my Dad; the fact that you learned those songs just to play them for us was really special. We have had many people tell us that our wedding reception was the most fun reception they had ever attended. That's all because of you guys! Thank you for such a fun party!!!

OMG! What a blast! We are so glad we booked you! You guys were AWESOME. You played so many great songs at our reception and everybody had so much fun! We have so many great memories to look back on thanks to you.
To anyone thinking of hiring The Mystery Dates we caution you . . . only hire them if you want a non-stop party! They don't take breaks . . . only requests. You will be dancing all night long. Seriously, they are the BEST!!!

I wanted to send you a very big sincere thank you for playing at my wedding on 4/26 and to let you know that you all were AWESOME. The reception would not have been nearly as fun had it been any other band - you are the best. Any chance I get I tell people what a great job you all did and how much fun we all had dancing the night away (you couldn't help but dance!). I had numerous guests tell me they loved the band - die hard music fans really enjoyed hearing you play.
